| Passion. A word that has been given new meaning during the course of the past few years. It seems like you can't go anywhere without seeing "The Passion of Christ explained" or "Passion Q&A" or a variety of other signs and billboards. Of course the term passion used in the recent production dealt with the suffering of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Here at Fellowship we have a different type of passion. Throughout the past few years this passion has been defined in three ways. A passion for God, a passion for people, and a passion for God's Word. Of course the passion we have is not referring to suffering, but a strong desire to know God, to do His will, to serve people, and to be educated in God's Word. Our Message
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
