Hi Everybody!

The Institute of Church Planters 2nd module is in full swing and going very well.  This module's topics are developing evangelism, planning & leading cell groups, understanding the function of the local church & developing a purpose statement, as well as New Testament baptism.  It is very exciting to hear their testimonies of what God is doing.

For instance, one of the leaders (see attached picture of the couple) shared that they are turning right around and teaching what they are learning in these modules to their church, so that the entire church can catch the vision and be a part of the whole process.  They have developed a plan and schedule of topics for their Thursday night classes.  This past weekend, they did their first co-operative mission outreach with another one of the church plants outside of Managua.  They prepared their teens for specific teen evangelism and a simple program, and went and did it.  God touched and moved their hearts as they came in contact with children and families living in abject poverty under cardboard.  This church also plans to do the same with their women's group, children's S.S., etc.

Another told that a Pentecostal church in their neighborhood, seeing this new group growing quickly, has started calling them "el anti-cristo" -- the antichrist.

Another outstanding gentleman and recent Bible school graduate, who is working on the Atlantic coast (completely different culture and language) shared that originally he had planned more of a mega-church approach for greater impact, but that as he is working through the ICP training, he has come to believe that "a church in every village" approach is what would be more effective there. (Please understand that the point here is not mega-church/village church, the point is that God is fine-tuning His servants for their specific work here.)

The group is excited and super-motivated as they see God working, and are anxious to launch their second group of guys in another ICP.
